This painting was a commission from a nonprofit group in New Hampshire called the Chester Friends of the Library. They commissioned me to paint two paintings of the town of Chester in a Folk Art style - one winter and one autumn. They were used to raise funds for an annex to the Library. Above is the autumn painting called "Woodsmoke Autumn Morn". The paintings were released as limited edition prints. Each edition was 250 prints and both are sold out. The original painting is an 36 x 48 acrylic on masonite panel.
